The Audiencers Festival focuses on audience engagement, conversion, and retention for media professionals.

The festival features speakers from leading media organisations. It presents an opportunity for digital publishing professionals to share expertise and insights on engaging and retaining audiences.

22 - 26 September: INMA Media Innovation Week 2025 | Dublin, Ireland

INMA’s Media Innovation Week brings together the very best of European best practices to grow audience, revenue, and brand to support great journalism, with a special spotlight on the Irish news industry. For the first time, Media Innovation Week adds a new component: a Newsroom Innovation Hub focused on repositioning the beating heart of news companies for the digital landscape. The event also features receptions at the National Gallery of Ireland and the famous Guinness Storehouse.

25 - 27 September: iMEdD International Journalism Forum | Athens, Greece


Now in its seventh year, the iMEdD International Journalism Forum returns to Athens for three days of panels, hands-on workshops, and conversations on journalism’s role in an era of doubt and disruption. Last year’s edition welcomed over 1,000 participants, 128 speakers, and 62 sessions from 30+ countries. This year’s programme builds on that energy, with sessions shaped by the journalism community itself, and new partner-led meetings for deeper peer exchange. Attendance is free, and registration is open.

14 October: Twipe Digital Growth Summit 2025 | Stuttgart, Germany

Join leading media professionals for a day of inspiring case studies, networking, and hands-on workshops on all things AI, tech and the future of news. Expect high-calibre speakers from the media and tech sector, lively debates, and problem-solving workshops where you'll join a small group of your peers to tackle specific challenges. 21 - 22 October: Trust Conference 2025 | London, UK

The Thomson Reuters Foundation's Trust Conference is a pivotal global forum dedicated to tackling critical issues at the intersection of independent media, access to law and responsible business. This year, the event will ask if it is too late to save democracy, amid escalating global clampdowns on civic space and ruthless legal attacks placing media in a chokehold.

23 - 25 October: IPI World Congress & Media Innovation Festival 2025 | Vienna, Austria

This landmark Congress will mark IPI's 75th anniversary. Under the theme "Defending the Future of Free Media," this milestone event brings together the global journalism community to address challenges facing the industry. The Congress will also host the 2025 IPI-IMS Awards Ceremony, recognising individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to defending press freedom worldwide.

18-19 November: WAN-IFRA Newsroom Summit 2025 | Copenhagen, Denmark

WAN-IFRA is bringing together leading thinkers in the media industry who are redefining their newsrooms and the media landscape with their vision and ideas. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be a main topic at this event, as it is going mainstream in the newsroom, driven by individual ambassadors and collaborative team projects.

26 November: Newsrewired | London, UK
